Taylors Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich and intense wine made from a blend of grapes sourced from Limestone Coast (52%) and Clare Valley (48%) in Australia. At release, the wine has a deep red color with a vibrant purple hue. The aroma is complex, with rich blackcurrant, subtle spice, tomato leaf, and a touch of eucalypt. The French oak maturation adds subtle aromas of cedar and dark chocolate. On the palate, the wine is intense with distinctive blackcurrant and cassis fruit flavors. The tannins are fine and elegant, and the oak characters of cedar cigar box and spice are also evident. The wine was matured for up to 10 months in French oak barrels (50% 2 yo, remainder 3 yo) before final blending and bottling. While it is crafted for immediate enjoyment, it can also cellar over a medium term under ideal conditions.
